About House of Photography
Greg Patterson is a nationally published photographer and retired university photography professor of over 29 years. His interest in photography started at age 13. He has a passion for all things photography, especially teaching others. Greg is also one of the few Certified Professional Photographers within a 120 mile radius. His photographs can be seen in many publications, most recently Texas Parks Wildlife and Guideposts.
As co-owner, Cindy Patterson has been involved with the studio from the very beginning. She is most likly the person behind the phone but also one to bring a smile to your face and make sure you feel welcome. Cindy specializes in the finishing steps to completing our client orders. Most importantly, she is the wife of Greg and mother to three kids. And when she is not working her heart out at the studio, she can be found anywhere outside followed by our three cats.

House of Photography formally G Patterson Studio is located in historic downtown Nacogdoches, just north of Lufkin in the beautiful piney woods of East Texas. Our portrait studio, which has been in business for over 25 years, is known for emotionally captivating, artistic portraits that capture natural expressions and real life relationships.
The studio boasts the largest portrait garden in all of East Texas. A myriad of breathtaking backdrops and settings await you.
