So, What Have We Lost?
Written by Cindy Patterson on August 28th, 2014While perusing new book titles on Amazon I saw one that caught my attention. What could a book titled “The End of Absence” be about? I wondered. The first thing I thought of was that the opposite of absent is present, right? So, was this another self-improvement book about how to stay present? I didn’t need [click title to read more ;)]
School Picture Day Not your Grandmother's school pictures
Written by Cindy Patterson on August 15th, 2014Traditionally, school pictures were synonymous for “the worst picture I ever took…ever!” I don’t know if we cringed more at the creepy guy in the leisure suit behind the camera or when we received our school pictures a few weeks later. But, times have changed and so has picture day. So said a recent high school [click title to read more ;)]
This pic says it all! Children photos can be WACKY but they're SO WORTH IT!
Written by Daryl Sparks on August 11th, 2014We had the great pleasure of seeing these two beautiful children come to the studio last week. Big Sister was very patient and perfectly well behaved. Little Brother, on the other hand, had something else in mind. Don’t get me wrong… He wasn’t misbehaved at all. He just was NOT interested in having photos taken. [click title to read more ;)]
To Photoshop or Not to Photoshop?

Beautiful ads sell! [click title to read more ;)]
Hey now! It’s not as bad as it sounds. Great quote about photographers
Written by Daryl Sparks on July 7th, 2014I love this quote. I wish I knew the author so I could compliment them on their wittiness. Truth be told, when you’re in the hands of a true professional, a photographer is anything but violent. If anything, a photographer, as well as the photo session, should be FUN, EXCITING, MEMORABLE … and above all [click title to read more ;)]

Nothin’ more East Texas than Watermelons Celebrating East Texan summer tradition
Written by Daryl Sparks on June 20th, 2014Summers in East Texas are typically hot and muggy, but you can’t stay cooped up inside all day. There’s too much fun to be had outside.
